Our Mission


Our mission at Harvest For The World is rooted in seeking justice for all people, working with others to eliminate hunger and poverty and serving our guests with respect, dignity and integrity. We shelter the homeless, feed the hungry and provide resources for cross addicted. Your donations are deeply appreciated and greatly needed.

Harvest For The World, Inc. is a non profit organization, serving the disadvantaged populations of Roosevelt, NY and surrounding towns since 1998.

Harvest For The World implemented a variety of programs enhancing the quality of life for our community residents. It has become a well-known beacon that the residents of Roosevelt and surrounding towns have come to rely on. 

We are truly a grassroots effort. This organization has coordinated and expanded public and private food assistance resources, as well as linked eligible individuals and families with public and private social service agencies.

Opened on June 8th 2013 the HARVEST MARKET gives its consumers a chance to choose what they would like and what they will consume. This nonprofit organization is all about innovation and self-empowerment and continuously strives to treat its consumers with respect, dignity and integrity.

Summer Youth Lunch Program
Monday Thru Friday Harvest For The World, Inc., will be serving free lunch to children under the age of 18. Stop by and join us for a healthy lunch!

Harvest Client Choice Market is now open on Saturdays from 11-1pm.
